BPITI was established in the year 2010 under the aegis of BSL's CSR, to create employment avenues for the local unemployed youth keen to get skilled,attain good Livelihood opportunities and support social-economic growth of the area. It is being run through Bokaro Ispat Educational Trust, a Public Charitable Trust, with Strength of 300 trainees in Electrician, Fitter & Welder Trade, under DST & CTS courses scheme, for each session.
BIET/BPITI is in MoU with Bokaro Steel Plant for Imparting on Job Training to trainees of the ITI of both Scheme-CTS/DST and all Trades-Electrician, Fitter & Welder. Bokaro ITI Provide On-Job-Training to its trainees of each session in Bokaro Steel Plant, for period of 02-09 months, since its inception. After completion of On-Job Training, these trainees are being provided an On-Job training certificate from BSL-HRD which signifies Industrial Exposure & Experience of trainees.
BPITI runs with a vision of 100% Placement record of their trainees, for every academic session. BPITI has an active Training & Placement cell which conduct placement recruitment drive of Appearing/Passout trainees each year from March to July. Due to Value added Education System & BSL Plant training, our Trainees become skilled with good academic records. They have competed and got selected in various PSUs like SAIL, BHEL, HPCL,IOCL, ONGC, BPSCL, Indian Defence Services. BPITI has also maintained an excellent relation with various Private organizations & Industries like Welspun India Ltd, TVS Motors, Hero Moto Corp, Maruti Suzuki, Suzuki Motors, Bajaj Motors & Tata Motors, Minda Tools, Panasonic India for Trainees placements assistance. Like last year this year also BPITI is in touch with various private companies of reputes and expected a good campus placement opportunities for the trainees in various Job Role as Apprentice/ Industry Trainee/Contractual worker/ Permanent worker.
